The former of the Chiayi County Human Resources Development Center is the Chiayi Innovation College. Named as “Innovation” was meant and aimed for integrated the efficiency of training resources and human capital in Chiayi County.Else,we also expected to combine the educational and training programs of universities, folk associations and enterprises together to toward the vision and purposes of regional sustainable development in Chiayi County.

The Chiayi Innovation College was established in 2002, Magistrate of Chiayi  County , Chen Mingwen was the pluralism to be as Dean. And to organize into general affairs division, education and training division, popularized division and information division and so on.
